“2005 Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc impressed me with a nearly textbook New Zealand style. It has all the bright citrus aromas and flavours, especially grapefruit and lime, as well as the tart and tangy acidity that are hallmarks of these wines. This is a great warm-weather white, one of the few I’d advise chilling until it’s icy cold before serving it with gazpacho, cracked crab, grilled seafood or as a thirst-slacking aperitif.”
