Success for Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc at Toronto’s 25th Wine and Cheese Show.
The 2007 Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc has won the ‘Best of show white table trophy’ for the second consecutive year and a Gold Medal in the over $15 white wine category at Toronto’s 25th Wine and Cheese Show, which took place at the city’s International Centre on April 4-6.
The Toronto Wine & Cheese Show is known worldwide for its informative and refined selection of gourmet food and award-winning wines. It also features cuisine from renowned restaurants, exciting seminars, beers, single malt whiskies, forthcoming vintages and industry-regarded wine and beer competitions. It's a show that has a consistent loyal following that increases in numbers every year.
Canadian wine critic, Gordon Stimmel described the wine as ‘offering the best value for consumers and having ‘racy gooseberry, kiwifruit and lime stylings.’
