Oyster Bay takes Triple Accolade at 2006 San Francisco International Wine Competition
Oyster Bay has been awarded one gold medal and two silver medals
at the 2006 San Francisco International Wine Competition, which is one of North America’s largest and most prestigious
wine competitions.
Oyster Bay Marlborough Chardonnay 2005 won a gold medal, Oyster Bay Hawke's Bay Merlot 2005 and Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2005 both won silver awards.
Held in San Francisco from the 23rd to the 25th of June, this year's competition saw over 1000 wineries submit wines from 19 countries. These three latest accolades represent remarkable achievements for Oyster Bay given that it was the brand's inaugural appearance at the highly prestigious San Francisco International Wine Competition.
