Oyster Bay Chardonnay 2002 takes out a Blue-Gold award at Sydney International Wine Competition 2004

In the first week of October 2003 over 2,000 wines from 16 countries were judged by an international panel of thirteen judges from five countries, under the chairmanship of Chief Judge, Huon Hooke.

Oyster Bay Chardonnay won a prestigious BLUE-GOLD award indicating that the wine was in the top 10% of all the wines entered.

A particular feature of this Sydney competition is that it judges its finalists alongside appropriate matching food.
